A reliable source of high-quality water for commercial and industrial applications as a low-cost substitute for ground water for non-drinking purposes. It recycles tertiary treated wastewater from the Ajman Sewage Treatment Plant, by polishing it through ultra-filtration and reverse osmosis processes.

A project 100% funded by private capital that runs on a full cost recovery basis with technical assistance from American company Dupont Water Solutions. Developed under a Public Private Partnership (PPP) model, it sells up to 10,000 m3/day to various customers ranging from district cooling plants to Ready Mix factories.

Won distinction award for the best water reuse project by Global Water Intelligence, received by His Highness Sheikh Rashid Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi highlighting the benefits to both environment and the population of Ajman. The plant is reaching an average 96% availability throughout the year making Safi a reliable and efficient solution for exigent customers.
